Golden Triangle

Golden TriangleThe Golden Triangle is one of the most popular incentive circuits of India. It covers the three most captivating cities of the country – Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The Golden Triangle is a kaleidoscope that presents Indian pageantry in its most colourful form and offers you a dazzling vista of stately and grandiose architectural buildings, forts and palaces with a legendary heritage. All of which makes this programme hard to beat anywhere in the world.
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Welcome to Delhi! Transfer to your hotel where you will experience Indian hospitality as you are greeted with a traditional welcome – an ‘aarti’ ceremony. In the evening, we recommend an exclusive ‘Dinner at the Olive Kitchen & Bar’.

Day 2: Delhi
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast followed by a guided tour of Delhi, a bustling metropolis which is in fact really two distinct cities – the colourful bazaars and Mughal architecture of Old Delhi contrasting with the formal splendour of Lutyen’s New Delhi. Tour highlights include Raj Ghat, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Government Buildings, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutab Minar. During the tour of Old Delhi we suggest you embark on an exciting ‘Treasure Hunt’ through the narrow streets on various ancient modes of transportation, navigating your way with the help of some exciting clues, culminating at a local restaurant for lunch. For a very special experience tonight, you have the option of participating in a ‘Bollywood Extravaganza’.

Day 3: Delhi • Sikandra • Agra
Today, you can either drive to Agra enroute visiting Sikandra, where you visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Akbar or you can take a charter flight directly to Agra. On arrival, transfer to your hotel where you will be accorded a traditional welcome. The city of Agra is the quintessence of the grand Mughal era with its imposing architecture and royal grace. In the afternoon, proceed on a visit to Agra Fort, a royal imposing structure with walls of red sandstone built by Emperor Akbar. In the evening, you have the option of participating in a grand ‘Mughal Theme Gala Dinner’, wearing the traditional attire of the Mughal Courts.

Day 4: Agra • Fatehpur Sikri • Jaipur
Early this morning, proceed on a spectacular sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal (closed on Friday). Referred to as one of the wonders of the world, this stunning mausoleum is a symphony in white marble. A tribute to eternal love, it was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Following your visit to the Taj Mahal, you can relish a delicious ‘Champagne Breakfast’ at the Taj Khema. After breakfast, you can either drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Akbar’s abandoned capital, Fatehpur Sikri or you can take a charter flight directly to Jaipur. On arrival at the hotel, you will be greeted with a ‘Grand Royal Welcome Procession’. The vibrant capital of Rajasthan renowned for its forts and palaces is popularly known as the ‘Pink City’. This evening, we recommend you enjoy an ‘Exhibition Elephant Polo Match’.

Day 5: Jaipur
After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur, the ‘Abode of the Kings’. Commence your tour with a visit to Amer Fort en route making a photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). In the afternoon, visit the awe inspiring Jantar Mantar Observatory, a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century and the City Palace, the royal residence built in a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal styles. This evening, you have the option of experiencing the opulence of the Royal House of Jaipur, as you participate in a ‘Royal Dinner at the City Palace’.

Day 6: Jaipur • Delhi
Bid farewell, as your magical journey comes to an end. Drive back or charter a flight back to Delhi and transfer to your hotel. Later, drive to the airport for your onward flight back home.
