Cox & Kings and Maison de la France introduce 'Chamonix-Mont Blanc'

New Delhi:  As part of 250 years Countdown Celebrations at Cox and Kings, the company is proud to introduce the Chamonix Valley-Mont Blanc in the Indian market for our customers. This is being done in association with Maison de la France, the French tourist office.

The Chamonix valley is a complete destination in itself. You will feel the excitement as you enter the majestic world of high mountains and the exhilarating Mont Blanc. It was here that the first Winter Olympics was held in 1924. There are many options to choose from. Walk past picturesque hamlets along the Alpine Lakes and enjoy the spectacular scenery that is a feast for your eyes. It not only provides walking trails but also has the highest and most impressive cable car ride in Chamonix, the Aiguille du Midi that takes you to 3,842 metres. It provides a breathtaking view of the entire Mont Blanc range and the magnificent valley below. Indian customers can also dine in an Indian restaurant that’s located in the Chamonix valley.

What’s more it is accessible from three European countries. It is just an hour away from Geneva, four hours from Milan and two-and-a-half hours away from Lyon, France. There is a highway that connects directly into Chamonix.

Speaking on the launch Peter Kerkar, Group CEO, Cox and Kings said, ``this is the first time that Chamonix is being launched in the Indian market. In keeping with our commitment to the Indian market and as part of our 250 years Countdown Celebrations we are proud to give the Indian traveler a choice. This is part of our ongoing series and we will roll out many more products in the year.’’
