Embark on a full day to Mt Titlis with Ice Flyer, en-route enjoy an Orientation tour of Zurich (Private).

Enjoy an excursion to Mt. Titlis, which is the jewel of Central Swizterland.
Travel to mountain monastery village of Engelberg. Embark onboard a gondola which takes you to Trubsee. Continue your journey by another gondola and finally arrive at the revolving Titlis Rotair cable car, ultimately reaching Mt. Titlis. Marvel at the spectacular view of the glacier ceravasses as you experience a ride on the Ice Flyer chairlift.
The Ice Flyer takes you directly to the Glacier Park, an ideal fun destination where you can try out all kinds of sledging equipment: Snow Tubes, Balancer, and Snake Gliss etc. The ascent is easy and effortless with the Magic Carpet moving walkway.
Later, drive to Zurich for a brief Orientation tour. Visit the historical Limmatquai, St. Peters Church, a section of the Old Town and spend some time at the famous Bahnhofstrasse.

DAY 04    |    Interlaken

Embark on an alpine excursion to Jungfraujoch, the "Top of Europe" and Europe's highest train station.
Your chauffeur will drive you to Grindelwald train station, and then you begin your journey by cogwheel train to the top. The highlight is the Ice Palace where you will see ice sculptures and experience the breathtaking view from the Sphinx Observation Terrace. You have to try out the Lindt Swiss Chocolate Heaven experience.
Climb aboard the train once more and descend to Lauterbrunnen Valley, where you visit the magnificent Trummelbach Falls, a natural UNESCO World heritage site.

  15. DRIVING REGULATIONS
    • Driver driving time starts from 0800 hrs - 2100 hrs (8HRS MAXIMUM), in a day a driver must have 11hrs of rest. It's illegal to exceed driving hours for any reason whatsoever.
    • Average running shouldn't exceed 300kms per day. Travel within the city limit cannot exceed beyond 80kms per day.
    • The Itinerary flow cannot be altered at any stage.
    • It is not allowed to eat and drink on coaches, unless prior permission is taken from the driver.
    • It is an individual's responsibility to take care of his/her personal belonging on board the vehicle.

How to book
Step 1

INTRODUCTION
All our products are sold subject to these Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time and the contract between you and us shall be governed by the same.If you book any third party products through us,their terms and conditionswould be applicable in addition to our Terms and Conditions. For avoidance of doubt, the terms specified under "DEFINITIONS" in Terms and Conditions shall, unless contrary to the context, have the same meaning in this How to Book.

WHERE TO BOOK
You can book our Cox & Kings FlexiHol OR Luxury Escapades Holidays and make all payments to us both Online at www.coxandkings.com and Offline modes or through a combination through our offices, franchisees, agents, your own travel agent, call centre, website, etc.

Step 3

ELIGIBILITY
Those who fulfill the conditions set out by the Reserve Bank of India and the laws relating to foreign exchange in India, should have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the date of return from the tour and have been granted necessary visa, travel insurance, medical insurance and any medical inoculations as applicable.

Step 4

BOOKING AND ADVANCE

  • We need the passport (in original) of each tour participant to be submitted to us at the time of booking.
  • Please read the Booking Form, Terms & Conditions, How to Book, Tour Brochure / Itinerary, Offers, Promotions, if applicable which are enclosed.
  • Please complete and sign and send us Booking Documents per party after perusing the Booking Documents, tour brochure, itinerary etc. In case you have booked a Tour online on our Website, then your online acceptance of the Booking Documents is required. Accordingly, you will have to peruse the Booking Documents online and "Accept" the terms and conditions set out in the Booking Documents, post which we shall send you confirmation e-mail towards your acceptance of the Booking Documents. We shall thereafter share with you the hard copies of the Booking Documents which you have accepted online.
  • In cases where tour participants belong to more than one family under a single form, it shall be signed by the head of each family assuming full responsibility for self and others. If the Booking Documents are signed by anyone else and not all family heads, it shall be conclusively presumed that the signing persons had the necessary authority given to them by the members of other families to sign on their behalf assuming full responsibility to enter into a binding contract with the Company.
  • Signing and online acceptance of the Booking Documents and payment receipt issued for payment made towards the Tour Cost shall constitute legally binding contract between the parties. Along with the Booking Document, please enclose the non-refundable visa -

Notes for both the above mentioned tables:

  1. Service Tax of 9% on total package cost inclusive of Swachh Bharat Cess & Krishi Kalyan Cess applicable as on date, for the Tour cost of the Package, service tax rate are subject to change.
  2. The GST (Goods and Services Tax) is under consideration by the Government of India and as and when the same is enacted the same shall be applicable to you without any intimation.
  3. The prices quoted are subject to availability at the time of booking and also subject to change.
  4. In cases where the tour price, as mentioned in the Price Grid, quoted to you comprises of both foreign currency (i.e. Euro, Sterling Pounds, US Dollar etc) and INR component, then payment made by you in INR for the foreign currency component of the Price Grid shall be subject to the rate of exchange ("ROE") prevailing at the date/time of making such payments. Therefore, please be informed that the total price quote stated at the date of booking may vary due to market led currency fluctuations applicable on the date of payment (as per the Payment Schedule). Such fluctuations are not within the control of the Company. The Company shall not be held responsible for any variance in the price quoted at the time of booking and the total amount required to be paid as per the payment schedule.
  5. Any additional taxes shall be applicable in addition to the aforesaid payments.
  6. At the time of booking, you need to pay the full amount for your air ticket (inclusive of taxes), visa and insurance. On receipt of the payments into our account, we will start the process of ticket issuance, visa facilitation and insurance and simultaneously book your land arrangements. Please note that air ticket prices are dynamic and are subject to change unless ticketed. Air tickets once issued are governed by amendment and cancellation policy of the respective airlines which may range from Rs.5,000/- and may go up to 100% of the total fare payable. Please visit the Website of the concerned airlines for further details.
  7. In case your visa is rejected or you decide not to proceed with your booking, the visa fees and any supplementary charges like courier fees, Visa facilitating charges, SMS charges, any urgent fees charged by the Consulate along with our administrative charges are 100% non-refundable.
  8. Tours involving Cruises, Coach Tours, and Train Tours, Holiday Homes and / or any other third party product will also involve the payment of the advance required by the third party supplier. This additional advance will be confirmed and collected at the time of booking.
  9. Packages booked during trade fairs, events or festivals may call for extra charges and immediate cancellation charges which will be informed before proceeding with the booking.
  10. Conditional OR Promotional prices periodically launched may call for full payments with change in Cancellation policy.
Step 5

VISA ADVANCE
Based on the tour option chosen, you have to obtain your Visa before departure. Visa costs will be advised by your Sales Officer. Your Visa cost includes, documentation fees, administrative fees and may or may not include Visa fees. The Visa fee does not include any supplementary charges like courier fees, urgent fees charged by the Consulate and all other fees / prices that are explicitly mentioned as included in the Visa fees.
Please take note that if you are flying, you may transit through different countries for which there may be change in visa requirements such as multiple entry visa or a transit visa. It shall be your responsibility / liability to ensure issuance of the necessary / proper visa.
As granting or rejecting visa is the sole prerogative of the concerned sovereign governments and Cox & Kings does not guarantee the issuance of visa. Cox & Kings is merely a facilitator shall not be held responsible / liable for any delay or rejection of visa regardless of the reason for such delay or rejection of visa.

DOCUMENTATION FOR BOOKING TOURS / BUYING FOREIGN EXCHANGE
A) For booking tours / buying foreign exchange for International Travel (other than travel to Nepal and Bhutan), following documentation is required:
a. Physically signed booking form by the traveller.

b. Physically signed terms and conditions form by the traveller.

c. Physically signed LRS cum Form A2 by the traveller

d. Signed photocopy of the first 2 pages and last 2 pages of your passport.
e. Valid Visa issued by the country of visit.

B) PAN:
a. For tour booking, copy of PAN card self attested is mandatorily required for any tour where in total tour cost per booking / booking ID exceeds Rs. 2 Lacs.
b. For purchase of foreign exchange, copy of PAN card is mandatorily required for purchase of foreign exchange over Rs. 50,000/-.
c. In case of minor where PAN Card is not available, the PAN Card details of parent / guardian are required.
d. You will have to provide a declaration in Form 60 in case you do not have PAN Card.
e. Copy of PAN Card / Form 60 is mandatorily required with self attested declaration, if payment of Rs.50,000/- or more is made in cash per booking / booking ID irrespective of the value of tour cost.

C) ADDRESS PROOF:

Where "simplified measures" are applied for verifying for the limited purpose of proof of address, the following additional documents are deemed to be Officially Valid Documents (OVD):
i) Utility bill which is not more than two months old of any service providers (electricity, telephone, post paid mobile phone, piped gas, water bill);
ii) Property or municipal tax receipt;
iii) Bank account or Post office savings bank account statement; iv) Pension or family pension payment orders, only if they contain address;
v) Letter of allotment of accommodation.

If the proof of address you are providing is in the name of some other member of your family with whom you are living and are closely related, then you would need to provide us such proof of address as mentioned above along with a declaration from the person named in such proof of address stating that you are a relative and are staying with him / her.
If the document of identity produced has an address which is the same as that declared by the prospective Client, the said document may be accepted as valid proof of both identity and address. If different or if a valid photo ID does not have address, then a separate address proof should be obtained.

Step 7

ONLINE PAYMENTS
All online payments that happen for any of the products booked via www.coxandkings.com site are secure. Cox & Kings does not store the credit card details of any customer in their database or in any data backup system or retrieval systems. Once you are ready to transact you are transferred to the bank site. The card details are captured on the bank site and not ours, hence we cannot be held responsible / liable for any misuse of credit card whatsoever.

Step 8

PAYMENTS AND ADVANCE

PAYMENT MODE:
1. Cash:

  • Pan card copy is required where payment of Rs.50,000 /- or above is made in cash;
  • In case you want to remit the Tour Cost in Cash Foreign Currency (FCY), then it is mandatory that you have to produce the purchase receipt of FCY from an authorized dealer as per the KYC norms of RBI.
  • TCS @1% on the total amount shall be applicable and payable by you in case if you are making cash payment of INR 2 lacs and above.

2. Cheque / Demand draft / Pay Order.

  • The cheque / demand draft / pay order has to be drawn in favor of "Cox & Kings Ltd." and payable at our Branch office, franchisee, Head office and / or Travel Agent nearest to you. In case of Cheque, it is subject to realization. Once the payment is cleared, only then will confirmation be made and the documentation be released. The cancellation policy will apply if the payment is not cleared within the specified time. The cheque / demand draft has to be drawn in favour of "Cox & Kings Ltd."

3. Debit / Credit Card

  • You can make the payment by credit / debit card provided the credit / debit card is physically produced at the Cox & Kings Cashier office as per the RBI rules.
  • Bank Charges will be applicable for every transaction.
  • You shall be solely liable / responsible to bear all bank transfer charges.
  • You can also make online payment through Company's website www.coxandkings.com using Credit / Debit Card and Net banking.

When you make payment to your Travel Agent, it would not constitute payment to us until the same is remitted to our account.
Notes for all the payment modes-

  • On payment of the advance amount, you will receive a receipt and invoice from Cox & Kings Ltd. office for the amount paid, within a few days. Your invoice is a confirmation of your booking, however, the same is not valid for traveling on tour.
  • For ONLINE bookings, on our Website via credit card you will be re-directed to your Bank's payment gateway. After successful completion of your online payment, you will be able to view paid invoices under the 'View Transaction' listed on the Website.
  • You will have to pay all bank charges including charges relating to credit card/ debit card / net banking / cheque / demand draft at the applicable rate in addition to the tour cost.
  • The Company reserves the right to decline your booking / s for any Tour or to cancel your booking without assigning any reason.
  • Non Resident Indians (NRI) and Foreign Nationals are required to pay the entire tour cost in the applicable foreign currency for the respective tour in USD/GBP/EURO/AUD/SGD.
  • In case you want to make either the full cost of the tour package (applicable for NRI/foreign nationals) OR the foreign currency component of tour cost (applicable for Indian Nationals) by foreign currency bank notes, then you will have to furnish the original invoice of Money Changer or Authorised Dealer.
Step 9

BALANCE PAYMENT INVOICES / SERVICE VOUCHERS

For 'FlexiHol OR Luxury Escapades' all services will be as per those specified / confirmed and paid for as per the Invoices and Service Voucher(s).
A Service Voucher is the written confirmation of your tour and entitles you to travel on the tour and must be presented by you to the Service Provider as applicable on the first day of the tour. No services will be provided if the Service Voucher in original is not in your possession. It is your responsibility to check the Service Voucher(s) carefully and to let the concerned executive at Cox & Kings sales office or franchisees or Preferred Agent or your Travel Agent know immediately in the event of any error. Important / emergency contact numbers are printed on the Services Vouchers and / or the briefing sheet provided to you.
Note: Service Voucher shall be issued to you provided you adhere to the time schedule of documentation and payments in full.
Please refer to Booking Amount and Payment Head for due date for payment. Once you make the balance payment in full, you will receive the Service Voucher(s) with your air-tickets, if applicable approximately 7 days prior to your departure date provided you adhere to the time schedule of documentation.

Step 10

PROMOTIONS / OFFERS / SCHEMES
Please note that in case of special offers, promotions or schemes additional terms and conditions of these offers, promotions or schemes will be applicable in addition to these Terms and Conditions. You will have to adhere to the payment schedule prescribed under such offers, promotions or schemes in order to be eligible to avail benefits under such offers, promotions or schemes. If you fail to make the payment by the due date and / or do not comply with all the Terms and Conditions of the offer, promotion or scheme you shall not be entitled to receive the benefit under such offer, promotion or scheme under any circumstances and these terms and conditions shall supersede any offer, promotion or scheme terms.

Step 11

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
It is entirely your responsibility to hold and carry on tour valid travel documents including airline tickets, Service Vouchers and your Passport on the tour with all required visa and immigration clearance (if applicable), confirmed air tickets, documents confirming insurance to cover risk to life, limb and property for the entire duration of the tour, medical clearances, inoculation / vaccination certificates, as the case may be, to be able to travel as per the tour itinerary. The costs of processing the above documents are not included in your Tour Cost.
We would not be responsible / liable in any way for any error that may occur on the stamped visa by the Consulate / Embassy regarding names, attachment of wrong photographs, wrong passport number, duration and type of visa (single / multiple) entry.
We would not be responsible / liable for any loss of your documents, which are returned to us by the Embassy / Consulate through third parties, nor if your documents are lost / misplaced / delayed when sent through a courier company from one office to another or from the office to Embassy / Consulate / Travel Agent / Visa Agent and back. In the eventuality of any such loss, we would put in best efforts to retrieve the lost documents. However, if the lost documents cannot be retrieved, we would render assistance in obtaining duplicate copies or certified copies of those documents from the concerned authorities.
Please take note that if you are flying, you may transit through different countries for which there may be change in visa requirements such as multiple entry visa or a transit visa. It shall be your responsibility / liability to ensure issuance of the necessary / proper visa.

Step 12

VISA
It is necessary for you to ensure that you have the appropriate passport, which is valid for at least six months from the date of return of your tour or as applicable. For guests travelling to Malaysia, please ensure that the minimum validity of the passport should be at least 9 months after your date of return to India. Furthermore, you will be required to take the appropriate visa for going on the tour.
We provide you visa guidance services for which we will charge you. Such charges may or may not include the actual Visa charge and costs incurred but will include our service charge. However, it excludes any supplementary charges like courier fees, urgent fees charged by the Consulate. Please note that UK and USA visa will have to be obtained by you directly; however we may assist you without any liability or accountability, in preparing and submitting the visa application based on documents provided by you. Even if your visa is rejected /or you get your visa later than the departure date, you shall be liable to pay the applicable charges. If you already possess a visa or wish to do the visa / s on your own, you would be entitled only for the refund of actual visa / s cost. The portion of charges attributable to our service charges will still have to be paid by you.
It is your responsibility to promptly furnish to us all documents required for application of your visa etc. latest 90 days before the departure date. It is your responsibility to properly fill in the visa application form. In fact, in the current scenario it would be far more prudent to furnish all documents at least four months before the departure date. Given the security concerns and the cautious approach adopted by Embassies and Consulates, visa processing can take quite long. Please note that we may receive / accept documents submitted late but we are not responsible or liable for rejection or non-receipt of visa due to inadequate or late submissions. You are required to furnish only genuine and valid documentation.
Granting / rejection of visa is the sole discretion of Embassy / Consulate. We only act as a facilitator for obtaining visa. You may be required at your cost to appear personally before the Embassy / Consulate for any interview(s) / providing biometrics. The Company shall under no circumstances be held liable / responsible for such rejection of visa and any other incidental or consequential loss, damage, cost or expense etc. Expressly on the aforesaid conditions, you have approached the Company for facilitating your visa.
We would not be liable / responsible in any manner whatsoever for any clerical error made by the concerned Embassy / Consulate regarding the name, attachment of wrong photograph, duration and type of visa (single / multiple entry) or passport number etc.
We always use services of reputed courier companies for the purpose of transmission of passports to the Embassies/ Consulates and to our clients in various cities. We will not be liable / responsible for any loss or damage whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential caused due to transmission delays or loss of passport or documents in the course of transmission of documents by us to the Embassy or to you or in the course of transmission of documents by the Embassy / Consulate to us. We would however, make best attempts to trace your documents or assist you in obtaining alternative / certified copies of the lost documents.
If you are unable to travel on the tour originally booked by you because either you could not get your visa in time or due to an error of the part of the Embassy / Consulate or an incorrect visa is issued to you, you shall have the option to postpone your tour to any other future date or transfer your tour to any other tour and in which case the amendment fee for the same shall apply in addition to cancellation charges. Terms & Conditions shall apply.
Please note that if the rejection of visa is intimated by the Embassy / Consulate within the cancellation period specified in the section titled CANCELLATION OF BOOKING BY YOU then the cancellation charges as appearing in that section would apply. Please further note that for the purpose of ascertaining the applicable cancellation rates, the cancellation would be deemed to have been made on the date we receive intimation of visa rejection from the Consulate / Embassy. Should you choose to re-apply after visa rejection, then you shall do so at your own risk and cost. If the visa is rejected a second time, the applicable cancellation rates shall be based on the date of receipt of intimation of the rejection of second visa application and so the charges will be much higher than the rates which would have applied on the first rejection. Should we not receive any intimation from the Consulate / Embassy either accepting or rejecting a visa application before the departure date of your tour, the maximum cancellation charges shall apply. It is made clear that the cancellation charges shall apply in addition to the retention of visa service charges.
In such a situation, the Company suffers losses because, sometimes, cancellation is made at a time of holiday rush like trade fairs, special events and the suppliers such as hotels, cruises, airlines etc. have 100% cancellation charges.
Under the circumstances, you agree not to proceed legally against us unless there is a manifest error from our end.

Step 13

OVERSEAS TRAVEL INSURANCE
TRAWELLTAG COVER-MORE ASSISTANCE AND INSURANCE

Your Travel insurance which is underwritten by United India Insurance Co. Ltd. is an add-on benefit provided by TrawellTag Cover-More along with its assistance services and ancillary products, which is included in our tour package (excluding ad hoc group tours , third party products and individual tours ) that entitles you to travel insurance cover during the duration of the tour. An additional charge is payable in case you wish to extend the duration of your tour. The cover is provided for all the passengers only up to 70 years of age. All passengers travelling overseas and above the age of 70 years should undergo the required medical tests post which the insurance company will issue travel insurance at an extra premium paid by the passenger. We shall not be liable for any consequences arising due to a pre-existing medical condition on participation in adventure sports even if you have opted for an additional adventure sports cover. It must be noted that pre-existing diseases are not covered under this insurance policy.
Please take note that, in case of demise of the tourist (s) all the arrangements for transportation of the deceased body including procuring the death certificate, post - mortem, re-patriation of deceased body and all personal effects / property and insurance claims etc. shall be made by accompanying relative and / or accompanying known acquaintances of the deceased. Company shall not be responsible for extending any help for the same. The entire expenses shall be borne by the accompanying relative / or accompanying known acquaintances of the tourist. The Company or any tour leader shall not be responsible for the same. In case any of the immediate or distant relatives or friends wants to visit the country where the tourist has expired for taking over the deceased body, all the necessary arrangements shall be made by the said relatives/friends only at their cost.
Please note that you would have a direct contractual relation with the insurance company and we are not in any manner responsible for the decisions taken by the insurance company. You shall directly submit claims to your insurance company. The insurance company shall directly pay the settlement amounts to you and any dispute in regard to rejection of claim or adequacy of settlement amount shall be settled by you directly with the insurance company. For details on risk factors, terms and conditions, please read the policy terms and conditions carefully.

Step 14

FOREIGN EXCHANGE
Your foreign exchange requirements have two components namely:
1. Tour Cost 2. Personal Forex

As per the present RBI Regulations, all resident Indians holding Indian passports travelling abroad on a private visit except Nepal and Bhutan are entitled to seek Foreign Exchange up to an aggregate amount not exceeding USD 250,000, in any one financial year irrespective of the number of visits undertaken during the year. This limit has been subsumed under Liberalized Remittance Scheme (LRS) with effect from May 26, 2015. If an individual has already availed any foreign exchange under the Liberalized Remittance Scheme in a financial year, then, the applicable limit for travelling purpose for such individual would be reduced from USD 250,000 by the amount so availed. Out of the overall exchange (USD 250,000) being sold to a traveller, exchange in the form of foreign currency notes or coins may be sold as below:

  1. Not exceeding USD 3000 or its equivalent to travellers proceeding to countries other than Iraq, Libya, Islamic Republic of Iran, Russian Federation and other Republics of Commonwealth of Independent States
  2. Not exceeding USD 5000 or its equivalent for travellers proceeding to Iraq or Libya.
  3. Full exchange may be released to travellers proceeding to Islamic Republic of Iran, Russian Federation and other Republics of Commonwealth of Independent States and
  4. For travellers proceeding for Haj / Umrah pilgrimage - full amount of entitlement or up to the cash limit as specified by Haj Committee of India.

Note: The above specifications are subject to change as per the prevailing rules and regulations. At the time of booking, kindly confirm with your booking agent / office / franchisee about such quota.

Step 15

YOUR TOUR COST
You will pay the total tour amount in Indian Rupees to Cox & Kings Limited in favour of Cox & Kings Limited along with duly completed and signed LRS form and other documents given under DOCUMENTATION section towards release of foreign exchange towards the cost of tour.
Please see the DOCUMENTATION section for documents which have to be provided under the KYC norms published by the Reserve Bank of India.

Step 16

YOUR PERSONAL FOREIGN EXCHANGE
You can buy foreign exchange required for your personal expenses while on tour under LRS entitlement. We recommend that you purchase your personal foreign exchange requirements from our Foreign Exchange Division. It is advisable to carry your personal foreign exchange partly in foreign currencies and partly in Pre-paid Cards/Travellers' Cheques.

Step 17

AMENDMENT FEE
If after the initial booking of the tour, you wish to make any amendment in the services, you will be required to make a written request and obtain an acknowledgement of the same from our Sales Officer. Change in services would include change of destination, change of departure date, addition to the services, deletion of the services, change in passenger number. The requests are subject to availability and you would have to pay extra charges towards such amendments in services. Cancellations will be applicable if the change of service falls within the cancellation period. Terms and Conditions shall apply.
In case of an amendment / cancellation, any new arrangements will be regarded as an entirely new booking and will be subject to availability and all requests must be made and then confirmed in writing and the Company reserves the right to make a charge of Rs.3,000/- + service tax as applicable each time a change or amendment is made to a confirmed booking at the client's request. Please note that in case the amendment request is made within the cancellation period, cancellation charges will also apply as if cancellation was effected on the day the request for amendment is made. The cancellation charges will be in addition to the amendment fee. Terms & Conditions apply.

Step 18

AIRLINE DATE CHANGE AFTER DEPARTURE
It is absolutely necessary to have your return air seats to India confirmed prior to your departure from India.
If you wish to change the date of your return journey after departure from India, you will have to pay a "Change in Reservation Fee" if any, directly to the airline, and it will be subject to the availability of seats in the same booking class. Change in reservation fee per person, per sector, per change is dynamic and will be changed as per instructions/discretions of the airlines and we will not be responsible / liable for the same. Terms and Conditions shall of the airlines apply.

Step 19

AIRLINE CONFIRMATION AND RE-CONFIRMATION
Though you may receive a confirmed air ticket for a particular sector, due to over booking of seats the airline may offload passengers and accommodate them on a subsequent flight for which we will not be responsible / liable. You are advised to report at the airport check in counter at least 3 to 4 hours prior to the departure time. Seat allocation is a matter of airlines discretion and availability of seats which is not in the control of Cox & Kings. Hence Cox & Kings shall not be held responsible / liable if you do not get seats together or do not get your preferred seats.
In case you are coming back on a later date after the tour ends, it shall be solely your responsibility / liability to re-confirm air tickets 72 hours prior to the departure.

Step 20

TRANSFER FROM ONE TOUR TO ANOTHER
A request in writing for transfer from one tour to another _10____ days prior to the departure will be treated as cancellation on that tour and a fresh booking on another. In these cases, a transfer Fee of Rs.___10,000________/- + applicable service tax as applicable per person will be applicable in addition to the costs for re-processing your visa, medical insurance and air tickets etc due to the transfer to another tour. In case you transfer within the cancellation period, then the cancellation policy will also apply. Terms & Conditions shall apply.

Step 21

PRE / POST TOUR / ADD ON EXTENSION PACKAGES
Pre / post tour accommodation / add on packages or extensions etc. are available to you at special rates. You must ensure that you request your Travel Agent for the same at the time of booking your tour.

Step 22

CANCELLATION OF THE TOUR BY CLIENT
1. If you wish to cancel your tour, you must intimate the Company as follows provided that such intimation should be in writing duly signed by each of the Clients seeking cancellation and given on a working day within working hours:

Similarly if your Travel Agent cancels, it will be deemed and construed that all the clients and you are in agreement with the same. The computation of the period of notice of cancellation shall commence only from the time the written request reaches the Company at its office in Mumbai on working days within office time at the details listed above.

Please note:

  1. In case of third party products such as cruise holiday, bus and train tickets, 5 Star hotels, services during trade fair period, festival period, the rules relating to payment terms, cancellation and the cancellation schedule prescribed by the concerned third party service provider would be applicable and in addition the Company shall have the right to claim service and communication charges of INR 5,000/- per person.
  2. There will be a Service Tax of 15% presently applicable over and above all mentioned charges. Post deduction of cancellation charges along with service tax, your balance amount will be refunded.
  3. Service Tax is subject to change as per directions of government of India and any such change shall be made effective immediately by us with or without informing you.
  4. Booking Form signed by one or more person / communication signed by such signatories would be treated as valid communication for cancellation for all such person mentioned in the form assuming full responsibility. The computation of the period of notice of cancellation shall commence only from the time the written request reaches the Company at its office in Mumbai on working days within office time.
  5. It is clear understanding between the parties that for the purpose of this clause cancellation can be due to any reason whatsoever including the reason of inability to participate due to any reason including illness, death, court orders, non-availability of travel documents etc. The Company shall not be liable / responsible to pay any compensation, interest or damages to you.
  6. The company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure without assigning any reason and all monies paid by you will be refunded forthwith in Indian Rupees without any interest only after deducting the actual expenses incurred by us on your booking like visa, insurance premium, ticket cancellation charges, administrative charges and other overheads expenses etc. as applicable from time to time and case to case, but no compensation and / or interest are payable.
  7. Cancellation shall take effect only from the time the written request reaches the Company at its office on working days within office time at the details listed above. In the following cases you shall be deemed to have cancelled the tour even if no cancellation notice is issued by you:

(i) In case of visa rejection, you would be deemed to have cancelled on the date of intimation of such rejection. If you fail to pay the tour cost in time or if you commit any other default in relation to your booking, we may treat such failure or default as a cancellation of the booking by you. In such case, the cancellation charges shall be computed with reference to the date on which we issue you a notice of cancellation;
(iii) If on your failure of payment or other default, no notice of cancellation is issued by us but your payment or default remains outstanding on the date of departure, the booking shall be deemed to have been cancelled by you without any advance notice, inviting the applicable cancellation charge.


8.It is your duty to make payments on time regardless whether we have followed up for the same or not.

9.You expressly agree to abide by the foregoing terms and conditions.

Step 23

REFUNDS
Refunds (if any) for the amendments and / or cancellations will be paid directly to you without interest by the concerned Cox & Kings Limited Branch Office / Franchisee / Preferred Agent / Travel Agent through whom you have forwarded your payment to us after deduction of the applicable taxes. It would take at least 60 days for us to refund the money, depending upon the refund policy of Airlines / Suppliers. In case of refunds, the same will be paid in INR only at the prevailing buying rate on the date of refund as per existing statutes, rules and regulations. The decision of the Company as to the quantum of refund shall be final and binding upon you.

Step 24

NO REFUND FOR UNUTILIZED SERVICES
It is clearly understood that there shall be no refund or compensation whatsoever for unutilized services. This general rule applies to all kinds of non-utilization or under-utilization of tour services, whether of the whole or part of the tour and whether as a matter of your choice, or caused by your fault or compelled by circumstances such as ill-health, weather, delays, external factors etc.
As a consequence of the above rule, please note that no refund will be admissible in the following circumstances (amongst others).
(i) If you fail to join the tour at the commencement of the tour or join later or leave before culmination of the tour for any reasons whatsoever.
(ii) If you fail to or are unable to utilize any of the services on the tour like airline travel, hotels, sightseeing, rides, cruises, meals, entrance fees, optional tours etc. due to any reason whatsoever such as late reporting, ill-health etc.
(iii) If you terminate your participation in the tour due to your own fault, negligence or breach of these Terms.

Step 25

TRAVEL NOW PAY LATER
Book your Tour on our 'Travel Now Pay Later' option by paying for your holidays in convenient monthly installments. This is also subject to the lender's terms and conditions.

Step 26

SAVE NOW TRAVEL LATER (SNTL) SCHEME
We may assist you in the "SNTL" scheme which is governed by Special Terms. Please liaise with our executive to obtain these Special Terms, which are in addition to these Terms & Conditions.

Step 27

INTERPRETATION
As to the interpretation of the foregoing, the decision of Cox & Kings Limited shall be final and binding upon you. We reserve the right to change these Terms & Conditions any time without any prior notice and without assigning any reason.

Step 28

JURISDICTION
This How to Book Document is solely subject to Mumbai jurisdiction.
