Welcome to your 'Cox & Kings - Turkish Getaway' tour!

On arrival in Istanbul, your Cox & Kings representative will greet you at the 'meeting point' at the exit. After immigration and customs, transfer comfortably to your hotel (check-in after 1400 hours).

Later, embark on the Bosphorus Cruise, with opportunities to photograph the shoreline with its landmarks - Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi palaces, Ortakoy Mosque, the defensive Rumeli Fortress, and the Bosphorus Bridge.

Overnight in Istanbul.

    Take an invigorating cruise on the Bosphorus for superb views of the magical city of Istanbul.

    You'll pass the famous Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi palaces, and see the historic European and Asian shores; you can also admire the mosques, fortresses, 19th-century mansions and Sultan's fanciful gingerbread palaces and hunting lodges. Your cruise will pass the 15th-century Rumelihisar Fortress.

Today after breakfast, embark on a guided orientation tour of Istanbul.

Visit the last great Imperial Blue Mosque. Leaving the mosque, proceed to the Roman Hippodrome, an open-air stadium built by Roman Emperors in 203 AD. The Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column, Constantine Column and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating the Hippodrome. Finally, shop at the Grand Bazaar, the biggest 'souk' with nearly 4000 shops, selling antiques, jewellery, gold, carpets, leather ware and souvenirs.

Visit to Buyukada, the largest of the three main islands and a popular summer resort with beautifully decorated old wooden houses, pine trees and wonderful panoramic views. Spend some time to relax or explore the island at your leisure.

Then, take a relaxing ride through the quiet narrow streets of the island by a horse-drawn carriage.

  • Cost of US $ 2,50,000 granted by Reserve Bank of India under the Liberalized Remittance Scheme.
  • Any increase in the airfare / taxes / routing charged by the airlines for ticket (presently calculated on 01st August 2018).
  • Airline and hotel surcharges (if applicable) during high / festive season to be paid extra per person.
  • Cost of extension of validity or deviation of the air ticket.
  • Any increase in rate of USD (presently calculated at USD 1 = INR 74) leading to an increase in Tour Cost coming into effect prior to departure. However, the rate prevailing on given day of payment will apply.
  • Porterage at hotels, apartments, airports, seaports, laundry, wines, mineral water, telephone charges, insurance and all items of personal nature, also food and drinks not forming part of the touring group's menu.
  • Anything not specifically mentioned under inclusions.
