Khardung La: Khardung La has claimed the title of world's highest motorable road for its massive 5602 meter height above the sea level. This is certainly a memorable trip of your lifetime. The exact feeling while riding this road on a motorcycle is difficult to put down in words. Colourful player flags flanking on the sides of the road, make the trip look like a dream. Though this ride is not for faint-hearted people and quite tough to complete but unparalleled beauty of this place counts every bit of your effort. Sand Dunes of Hunder: Nubra Valley never stops to surprise its tourists. This deserted valley near Siachen Glacier has so many things hidden under its veil. HunderSnad Dune is one of her gems. It is barely possible for us think of a sand dune in such a high altitude. Approximately 150 kilometres away from the Leh town, Hunder Sand Dune offers an exotic view of sun-kissed mountains guarding this sparkling land from all the sides. Once you reach the sand dune, take a two-humped Bactrian camel and enjoy a ride on the sand which is exclusive to this place.
Diskit Monastery: Nubra Valley is a land that not just offers charming view of rugged mountains and fertile river beds; it is the home to many monasteries. Among these Buddhist monasteries, Diskit is the oldest one. This monastery cradled in the edge of sharp mountains was built by ChangzemTserabZangpo and it plays the role of a sub-monastery to Thiksey Monastery in Leh. This monastery nurtures the culture and practice of Gelukpa order of Buddhism. Inside the monastery, there is a giant prayer wheel placed on the mid-level of the monastery veranda. View from this monastery is breath-taking.
