Basilica of Bom Jesus: Basilica of Bom Jesus has gained the title of UNESCO's World Heritage Site for its historic, architectural and spiritual value. This church houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier which are still in good shape and condition even after 400 years of his death. Once in every ten years, these remains are taken out for mass visit. The Basilica of Bom Jesus church is one of a kind in India because of its exclusive baroque architecture. This church was built more than 400 years ago and still it is very much functional and it remains open to public every day.
