Batasia Loop: You may have a lot of experience of travelling by train, but we bet you don't have anything like the Batasia Loop. As the name suggests, it is loop or a spiral shaped track for narrow gauge railway. In this loop area, the Toy Train takes a sudden sharp decline from Ghoom. At Batasia Loop, you will be amazed to see the satiny green tea gardens, sprawling valleys, streams and falls guarded by the majestic Kanchenjunga range. This loop is particularly famous for its vast and panoramic view of Darjeeling's landscape and the Himalayan peaks.
Tiger Hill: Tiger Hill is a popular tourist joint in Darjeeling. It is about 11 kilometres far from Darjeeling Town and takes approximately 40-45 minutes to reach the spot by car. This is basically a hill top point offering mesmerizing sunrise view of Kanchenjunga and others snow-capped mountain peaks of this region. You can even get a spectacular view of Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, from Tiger Hill on a clear, shiny day. Because of its high altitude, Tiger Hill is also great to get a bird's view of the whole area.
