Puri is on the shore of the Bay of Bengal and known for being a Hindu sacred place. Puri’s other attraction is its long, sandy beach and esplanade. Puri beach is a popular beach resort.
November - February
Arrive Bhubaneshwar and proceed to Puri. On arrival check in to hotel. Visit Puri Beach in the evening.
After Breakfast drive to the Satapada, the meeting place of Chilika Lake and the Bay of Bengal and Irrawaddy Dolphin Sanctuary. Lunch at Chilika. Enjoy boat ride in Chilika Lagoon with the Dolphins. Then back to Puri, Then visit the Jagannath temple darshan & over night stay at Hotel.
After breakfast proceed for tour of the crafts village of Raghurajpur known for its Pattachitra painters. Raghurajpur village is also famous for its traditional performing dance, known as Gotipua. If possible pay visit to Maa Dasabhuja Gotipua Odissi Dance School, Gotipua Gurukul, where young boys practice to learn the traditional dance form.
Today bid farewell to your tour and proceed to your hometown.
