Arrive Leh

Welcome to the land of Endless Discovery!
On arrival at airport in Leh, you will be transferred to the hotel.
The flight to Leh is one of the most mesmerizing beauties and is blessed with majestic snow laden Himalayan ranges, lush green landscape, sparkling blue waters and deep gorges on earth. The rest of the day is at leisure to acclimatize. In the evening, you will proceed for photography session where you will learn how to capture the best Image.

On to Nubra Valley (Approx 120 Kms / Approx 4 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley which is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers drive across Khardung-la which is situated around 18360 ft above sea level. It is the highest motorable pass in the world. Later, check-in to your camp. The rest of the day at leisure to explore Hunder Villages and Camel Safari in Sand Dunes (Optional).

Nubra Valley* Excursion to Turtuk (Approx 77 Kms / Approx 2 hours)

Today after an early morning breakfast, depart for an adventurous journey driving through spectacular landscape into the realm of the Balti dynasty to the quaint village of Turtuk. Enjoy exploring this frontier hamlet admiring the traditional houses called “nangchung’’, unique traditional kitchen implements and relish the delicious apricots grown in the region.

On to Leh

After breakfast, transfer to Leh. En route visit Deskit Monastery which is the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery in the Nubra Valley. This monastery was founded by Changzem Tserab Zangpo in the 14th century. It belongs to the Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is a sub-gompa of the Thiksey monastery and has a statue of the Maitreya Buddha in the prayer hall, a huge drum and several images of fierce guardian deities.

On to Dah Hanu (Approx 197 Kms / Approx 5 hours)

Today, start early and proceed via the Aryan village to Dah Hanu. En route, visit Likir Monastery that houses great statue of Maitreya Buddha. Later, visit Alchi Monastery famous for its 1000 year old paintings. Enjoy a photo stop at Sham Valley, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and Confluence of Indus & Zanskar River on the way. On arrival, check-in to your camp.

On to Leh

Early morning, discover the beauty of Stone Age village and capture mesmerizing beauty in portrait. Later, drive to Leh and check- in to the hotel. The rest of the day at leisure.

On to Tso Moriri

After an early breakfast, leave for Tso Moriri lake. The lake is famous worldwide for its picturesque beauty. Stop over at Chumathang on the way which is famous for its Sulphur springs. By late noon, reach Tso Moriri Lake and check-in at the camp. Later, visit the lake shores which is famous as a designated Ramsar wetland sanctuaries. It is a popular breeding and nestling area for thousands of migratory birds that include Brahimini Duck, Bar Headed Goose and Black Cranes etc.

Tso Moriri Lake – Tso kar Lake – Leh

After breakfast, drive to Leh via Tso kar Lake. En route visit Puga Geo- Thermal Gas Springs, Nomadic Rebo tents at Polo-Kongka pass. After crossing the pass, stop by Tsokar Lake for a photo stop (Optional tour of Thukje Monastery). Later, pass via Taglangla Pass which is located in an altitude of 5350 meter. On arrival in Leh, check-in to your hotel. In the evening, gather at the venue for the photography contest where in the best photographs will be shortlisted by a panel. Once the contest is over, the winner will be announced from the shortlisted candidates and the prize distribution will commence which will lead to a souvenir distribution ceremony.

Depart Leh

Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and depart home with unique experiences of Mesmerizing Ladakh. (Breakfast)

  • Shanti Stupa: It is a peace pillar, built by Japanese monks to promote world peace. It's a Buddhist white-domed stupa on a hilltop in Chanspa. Stupa is located 5 km away from the city of Leh and faces the famous Leh Palace. From the top of the stupa, nearby area looks wonderful.
  • Stok Palace: It is built by King Tsespal Tondup Namgyal in 1825. In the present times is the residential palace of the royal descendants of King Sengge Namgyal. The architecture of this palace is a perfect mix of the traditional and the contemporary architectural styles.
  • Pangong Lake: It is located 160 kilometres away from Leh. The drive to Pangong Lake is an exciting experience offering scenic views. It is a beautiful lake with crystal blue waters. Enjoy the solitude near the placid waters of this magnificent lake and take out your cameras to capture the picturesque view of this wonderful place. Black necked Siberian Crane can be spotted near the Mahe marshes, the only breeding place for these rare migratory birds.
  • Lamayuru: It is located at a distance of 125 kilometres from Leh. It is picturesquely enveloped by the rugged, dusty mountains and is beautifully carved out of the badlands area. It comes in your way when you move towards Kargil from Leh. Drive on the road towards Lamayuru is an excellent way to explore the scenic snow capped mountains of the region. Tso Moriri is one of the must see places to visit in Leh.
