Day 01 Arrive Johannesburg.

Welcome to your 'Glimpses of South Africa' tour!

On arrival in Johannesburg, your Cox & Kings representative will greet you at the "meeting point" at the exit. After you complete immigration and customs, transfer to the hotel and check-in.

Then, proceed for a city tour of Johannesburg. Visit Gandhi Square where Gandhiji had his office, Elise Park Stadium, Nelson Mandela Square and Hill brow Tower.

Overnight in Johannesburg.

Lunch at a local restaurant, Dinner at the hotel.

Day 02 Johannesburg

Today, proceed to Sun City for a day's excursion. Sun City offers a myriad of different entertainment and relaxation opportunities as well as enough attractions and activities to keep everyone busy.

While at Sun City, you have the chance to enjoy various activities on offer (at your own expense) such as a visit to the Bird Aviary, Archery, Jet Ski, Parasailing, motor boats etc.

Day 03 Johannesburg - Mossel Bay

Early morning, check-out and proceed to the airport to board your flight to George.

On arrival in George, drive to Mossel Bay and check-in to your hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel, Lunch at a local restaurant, Dinner at the hotel.

Day 04 Mossel Bay

Today, proceed to Oudtshoorn and visit Cango Caves, one of the world's great wonders, to experience the fusion of fantasy and natural beauty in the world's finest stalactite caves.

Thereafter, proceed to an Ostrich Farm to avail of this never-before opportunity to ride an ostrich or to stand on top of an ostrich egg. Later, visit Cheetah Land and Crocodile Farm at the Cango Wildlife Ranch. In the evening, embark on a lighthouse hike.

Day 05 Mossel Bay

This morning, proceed for a day's excursion to Knysna. En route, make a halt at Bloukrans Bridge located in the Tsitsikamma Region. Bloukrans Bridge is the site of the world's highest commercial bungee jumping.

Thereafter, continue onto Knynsa, a town in the heart of South Africa's beautiful Garden Route just East of Cape Town, nestled in between the Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean.

Stop here for a photograph before continuing on your journey across some beautiful towns by the sea.

You can enjoy Bunjee jumping at Bloukrans Bridge (at your own expense).

Day 06 Mossel Bay

Today, proceed for one of the most scenic walks of your lifetime on a 15km long trail. During your walk, you will be flanked on either side by majestic mountain ranges and by the beauty and wonder of the Indian Ocean.

The rest of the evening is at leisure. You can enjoy optional activities such as Helicopter ride - for breathtaking views of the wonderful sea and more than 60 km of beaches, Quad Biking - a 4-wheeled bike ride or Speed boat ride.

Day 07 Mossel Bay - Garden Route

This morning, proceed to the game lodge in Garden Route and check-in.

Then, enjoy a thrilling 4x4 African Safari game drive. This will give you a chance to come face-to-face with the Big 5 - lions, leopards, elephants, wild buffalo and rhino.

The rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activities.

Day 08 Garden Route Game Lodge - Cape Town

Today, depart for Cape Town. This is South Africa's most beautiful city blessed with good climate, a natural setting and well-developed infrastructure. Also known as "The Mother City", it is the second most populous city in South Africa after Johannesburg.

In the evening, proceed to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

Day 09 Cape Town

This morning, proceed for a visit to Table Mountain - South Africa's premier tourist attraction. Take the cable car (weather permitting) and enjoy an exhilarating ascent to the top for breathtaking views over the city and its beaches. This panorama stretches from Table Bay to False Bay and around the mountain to the Hout Bay valley.

Next, embark on an orientation tour of the city driving past Houses of Parliament, the Castle, Signal Hill, Sea Point, the Waterfront, Malay Quarters and the downtown business district. In the evening, proceed to Canal Walk - the 3rd largest shopping complex in Africa. This shopping centre hosts over 400 stores, 7000 parking bays, numerous restaurants, 20 cinemas and a gaming arcade.

Day 10 In Cape Town

Today, enjoy day excursion to Cape Point Peninsula. Also visit Cape of Good Hope, the southwestern point of the African continent. On the way back, drive through the area of millionaires.

In the evening, proceed to Seal Island to see the Cape Fur Seals.

Day 11 Homeward Bound

Important Note

  • A part of your tour price will be taken in ZAR from your LRS as per the RBI / GOI regulations.
  • Child without bed is an individual under 12 years of age sharing the room with 2 full paying adult passengers and without a bed / cot.
  • Maximum 3 adults are allowed per room.
  • Once an air ticket is issued, date change penalty will be applicable. Check with our Sales Officer for the applicable charges.
  • Additional supplements on account of fuel hikes as and when received would be applicable with immediate effect.
  • Glimpses of South Africa tour operates more than one coach per departure & on certain departures will operate in reverse direction.
  • For passengers from other cities joining this tour in Mumbai, the cost of to & fro domestic travel is not included in the Tour Price.
  • The right to vary, amend, alter or withdraw any particular itinerary, departure or excursion rests entirely with the company. Due to demand of a particular airline, the in/out points may change. Services however will remain unchanged.
  • All meals mentioned in the Itinerary are pre-set and a-la carte is not possible.
  • Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/coach during your stay shall be borne by the concerned passengers.
  • The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss of baggage, loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out tour arrangements due to weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine or any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense shall be borne by the passengers.
  • The Management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses Incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, airplane, bus, ship or any other services.
  • There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized on your tour.
  • On days when certain attractions, sights, monuments, museums etc. are closed, the Tour Manager reserves the right to amend the Itinerary / cancel the visit.
  • For convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary.However, the services remain unchanged.

  • The tour price mentioned is applicable provided there are 25 full paying adults travelling on the tour departure. If the mentioned group size is not met passengers will travel on FIT basis. In such a case, FIT supplement will apply & travel arrangements may change  or passengers may be given an option to travel on alternate dates with prevailing surcharges.

Terms & Conditions

  • Special Terms applicable for Clients opting for "Save Now Travel Later" (SNTL) product offering.

    1. These Terms are in addition to the applicable product Terms & Conditions (T & Cs ), which shall be provided to you by us at the time of booking. In case of inconsistency between those T & Cs and these SNTL Special Terms, the latter shall prevail.
    2. These Terms are applicable only to customers who opt for "SNTL" product offering.
    3. You will be required to open a Recurring Deposit Account (RD) with State Bank of India (SBI) for a period of twelve months by contributing twelve equated monthly installments (EMI). We will top it up with the thirteenth month non - refundable EMI. The total of the thirteen installments will be equivalent of the tour cost.
    4. Till the transfer of the total tour cost to our credit, you shall be governed by the terms & conditions of SBI where after, our Terms & Conditions shall apply.
    5. You shall commence and complete the booking formalities with us for the selected tour product in the tenth month of the opening of the RD with SBI.
    6. The full payment of the tour cost shall be made to us after 12 months of the date of opening of the RD or maturity date whichever is earlier. You will be required to authorise SBI to credit the entire maturity proceeds to our designated bank account.
    7. The ideal tour departure date will be 90 days post the credit of the funds to our bank account and / or submission of documents for visa processing, whichever is later. This again will be further subject to availability of the tour and time taken for processing visa. If the chosen date is unavailable, alternate dates would be offered in lieu.
    8. There shall be no contract between the parties until the Booking Documents are signed and received by the Company and it has also received the entire tour cost.
    9. We shall commence booking of the airline ticket, hotel reservation, processing of visa etc only upon receipt of the entire tour cost.
    10. Grant / rejection of visa is the sole discretion of the concerned Embassy / Consulate. We merely act as a facilitator for obtaining visa. We shall therefore be not responsible / liable for any consequences that may follow visa rejection and / or delays in obtaining visa.
    11. Any amount received in excess of the effective tour cost shall be refunded by us within 30 days without interest from the date of credit of funds to our bank account.
    12. Consequences arising out of premature withdrawal / fore closure of the RD shall be entirely upon you.
    13. The cancellation clause as appearing in the respective product T & Cs shall be made applicable only upon receipt by us of the entire tour cost .
    14. The Rate of Exchange for the foreign exchange component, the airline ticketing charges, the applicable taxes, the visa cost etc. shall be as on the date of receipt of payment by us of the tour cost.
    15. Words & expressions herein shall have the same meaning ascribed to them in the T & Cs.
    16. We reserve our rights to change these Special Terms any time without notice and without assigning any reason.
    17. These Special Terms are subject to Indian laws and further subject to Mumbai jurisdiction alone.
    18. As to the interpretation of the foregoing, the decision of Cox & Kings Limited shall be final and binding upon you.
  • YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLY WITH TOUR CONDITIONS
    You will have to strictly follow the tour program and comply with the terms and conditions of the various contractors / service providers such as hotels, airlines etc.
    You are responsible to register with the representative of the Company at the appointed date, place and time for departure and you would be treated as a no-show if you fail to do so and the consequences shall be yours entirely. You are required to be punctual and adhere to the time-lines of the tour and of the contractors / service providers. If you are not punctual, you could miss your flight, your coach, your meals etc.

    You shall not behave in a manner which may cause distress or annoyance to other tour participants or to any other person or which may create the risk of danger or damage to property belonging to us or other tour participants, service providers or any other persons. If you misbehave or disturb the decorum of the tour, we may have to terminate your tour. In such an event, no refund or compensation will be paid to you and you will have to bear and pay the expenses for your return travel at your risks and consequences. You shall not carry any item or object, the possession of which is forbidden by any laws, rules or regulations. Nor shall you violate any other laws, rules or regulations of the country in which you are travelling. Should any tour participant misbehave or violate any laws, rules or regulations, we shall have the right to discontinue his / her participation and exclude him / her from the tour at his / her risk, cost and consequences. Should we suffer any damage or liability on account of a tour participant's misbehavior and / or for losses caused to property of third party service providers, we shall be free to separately charge and recover our losses and expenses from him / her.
