TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE KOREA HOLIDAY on '100 HOLIDAYS TO KOREA OFFER'
  1. All services will be as per those specified/confirmed as per the 'What your holiday includes'. If the participant avails any service which is not included in the holiday or gets upgraded, then the payment for the same will be extra. Please note that airport transfers or hotel transfers, sightseeing, porterage, room service, laundry, excess baggage charge, meals, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, paid toilets etc are not included unless specifically mentioned.
  2. All the flights of the Bumper package to Korea will be from specified hubs from India only. The participants would have make arrangements from their place of origin to reach and return from these departure hubs on their own at their own expense.
  3. The participants traveling on any of the Bonanza packages to Korea would have to travel to Korea from India and from their place of origin to reach & return from the departure hubs on their own and at their own expense.
  4. The winners would have 3 weeks time within which they claim their prize from the time they have been informed by the Company. After claiming their prize, the winners would have a period of 1 month to choose their date of travel. If the winners do not claim their prize or accept their date of travel within the prescribed time, their title to the holiday would stand forfeited.
  5. All bookings are subject to availability. There will be block out dates especially in case of national holidays, long-weekends, trade fairs and peak dates. We reserve the right to alternate dates and hotels, in case of non-availability. In case the participant does not wish to travel on the given dates, then the holiday will be forfeited and no service or cash will be provided in lieu of.
  6. The winner would have to pay the airline / airport taxes, visa fees, overseas medical insurance fees, cost of optional tours if availed, hotel / city / hotel and meals and any other expenses and costs in respect of the holiday which are covered by the 'What your holiday excludes'
  7. Currently, the airline restriction is 20 kgs for economy class on flights to all destinations except U.S. and Canada where a person may carry 2 pieces of checked in baggage and one hand bag. It is recommended to carry one single suitcase per person of a size of 158 cms. (width + length + height) preferably with wheels for sake of convenience. All baggage and personal effects are at all times and in all circumstances the responsibility of the traveler and Cox and Kings would not be responsible if the traveler loses or misplaces the moveable property due to any reason whatsoever. It is recommended that the traveler makes use of safe deposit lockers, if available at the hotel to keep his valuables.
  8. The traveler would have to ensure that no valuables are left behind on the transport used and Cox and Kings takes no responsibility in this regard.
  9. Tipping is customary in most part of the world. Normally Euro 2/ USD 2 each should be paid to drivers, guides and porters ( per piece of luggage per way). Tips are not included in the holiday and would have to be paid extra.
  10. Cox and Kings reserves the right to change, amend, alter, modify or substitute alternate services at any time during the holiday.
  11. The traveller would have to be punctual and adhere to the timetable / itinerary provided for the day at all times including the departure time from the hotel, and sightseeing places. The traveller would be solely responsible for any loss of sight seeing, and other services due to unpunctuality of the traveler.
  12. The meal and type of meal, if available is clearly indicated. Where meals are not included, the traveler would have to dine at their own cost.
  13. The traveler has to purchase the foreign exchange from Cox and Kings. It advisable to carry part of the money in cash and part of money in Traveler Cheques which can be encashed for a small fee.
  14. All hotels are twin bedded. Modern facilities such as attached toilets with showers / bathtubs are provided. The check in time is usually 2 p.m. hotel and check out time is usually 11 a.m. Though the check in time is 2 p.m., you may have to wait for some hours till the rooms are cleared. If you wish to check in earlier, then you will have to pay an additional amount. Any damage caused to the hotel property by the traveler will have to be paid by the traveler and Cox and Kings would not be liable for the same.
  15. Cox and Kings does not control or operate any airline, neither does it own or control any shipping company, transport company, hotel, transport, restaurant, train or any other facility or service. Though Cox and Kings takes care in selecting all the components in your holiday, Cox and Kings only selects and inspects them. As Cox and Kings no control in running of them, it cannot be responsible for any delay, deficiency in services, improper services provided by any agency, airline, transport, hotel, any provider of services, for any injury, death, loss or damage which is caused by the act or default of the management or employees of any hotel, airlines, shipping companies, cruise, coach owners / coach operators / tour operators, train operators, who are Cox and Kings's independent contractors or any co-passengers or co-travelers. Please note that Cox and Kings is only a facilitator of your holiday.
  16. The traveler shall be responsible to hold valid travel documents and statutory clearances, to enable him / her to travel on the holiday such as passports, visas, confirmed air-tickets, insurance and medical insurance certificates and other statutory certificates including immigration clearance. In any case, the traveler's Passport must be valid for at least six months subsequent to the scheduled commencement date of the holiday.
  17. It is mandatory that the traveler applies for the visa through Cox and Kings. The traveler shall have to provide all the necessary documents to Cox and Kings and pay the visa fee of Cox and Kings for preferring the visa application. The amount payable to Cox and Kings for obtaining the visas would be inclusive of the fee charged by the consulate and the service fees of Cox and Kings. Cox and Kings would not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for granting or rejection of visa or for any clerical error done by the concerned Embassy / Consulate regarding name, attachment of wrong photograph, duration and type of visa (single/ multiple entry) or passport number. Cox and Kings would not be responsible for any loss or damage whether direct, incidental or consequential caused due to transmission delays or loss of passport by courier companies, though Cox and Kings will assist in helping getting replacement documents. If the visa is not granted, then the holiday will be forfeited. The visa costs and service fees will not be refunded in case of visa rejection. If you have paid for any extra services e.g. optional tours over and above your free holiday, the same shall be subject to the cancellation policy of Cox and Kings.
  18. It is mandatory that the traveller purchases an Overseas Medical Insurance Policy to cover the risk to life, limb and property whilst on tour from an insurance company identified and named by Cox and Kings. The traveller must check the accuracy and correctness of the policies and in case of any errors report the same to the Insurance Company to rectify it as Cox and Kings will not be responsible for the same. The cost of overseas medical insurance shall include the insurance charges and the service charges of the Cox and Kings. Please note that any claim would have to be referred directly to the insurance company and Cox and Kings is only a facilitator. The traveller should ensure that he / she carries the insurance policy on the tour. However, persons above age of 70 years and those seeking extended stay beyond the duration of the holiday will have to pay an extra insurance premium. Additional medical tests as prescribed by the doctor will be required for persons above the age of 70.
  19. Cox and Kings shall not be responsible and / or liable for any damages caused to the traveler due to reasons beyond the control of Cox and Kings (Force Majeure / Vis Majeure).

    Cox and Kings shall, in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the traveler in case of:
    • Any loss of life, limb or property, sickness, delay, discomfort, additional expenses incurred by you, consequential loss and/or damage or any kind suffered by you howsoever caused arising out of any act, omission, default of any Independent Contractor or by any servant or agent employed by the Independent Contractor or third person who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, meals, transportation, entertainment, refreshment or any other service comprising the tour package.
    • Failure on the part of airline to accommodate passengers (despite having confirmed tickets) or cancellation, change of route, delay of flights. Failure of airlines to accommodate passengers in case of the airline ceasing to operate flights from India to Korea and vice versa.
    • Overbooking of seats / rooms by the airline / hotel.
    • Loss of / delay of baggage by airline/ coach / cruise / train.
    • In any case, no liability on the part of Cox and Kings arising in any way out of this contract in respect of any tour, holiday, excursion facility shall exceed the total amount paid for the tour holiday, and shall in no case include any consequential loss or additional expense whatsoever.
    • Any death, personal injury, sickness, accident, loss, delay, discomfort, increased expenses, consequential loss and/or damage or any kind of theft howsoever caused;
    • Any act, omission, default of any independent Contractor or other person or by any servant or agent employed by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facility or service for you or for any person traveling with you howsoever caused.
    • The temporary or permanent loss of or damage to baggage or personal effects howsoever caused including willful negligence on the part of any person.
    • Any overstay expenses due to delay or changes in bus / flights / ships / trains or cancellation of special bogie or other services due to sickness, weather conditions, war, threat of war, civil disturbance, terrorism, threats of terrorism, strikes, rebellions or any other cause whatsoever.
    • Cox and Kings shall not be responsible and / or liable for any damages caused to the traveler due to reasons beyond the control of Cox and Kings (Force Majeure / Vis Majeure).
    The immunities provided under this contract to Cox and Kings shall be available to Cox and Kings's Managers, including Tour Managers, Employees, Servants and Agents but not to the Independent Contractors selected by Cox and Kings.
  20. In addition to these Terms and Conditions, the How to Book rules and Terms and Conditions of Cox and Kings would be binding and applicable on the travelers.
