Overview
The Westin Chosun Hotel has been a symbol of Korea since its establishment on October 10, 1914, as a historic landmark of Korea's tourism industry. This 5 star hotel has many “firsts” to its credit. It was the first hotel to introduce to Korea the 'first ice cream', 'first elevator', 'first dance party' and other touches of western culture.
The Chosun has been at the center stage of Korea's political, economical, and cultural activities since 1914 to the present day.

Recognized for exceptional facilities and services catering to international executives, The Westin Chosun, Seoul was named to Condé Nast Traveler's Gold List of the "World's Best Hotels." And Asiamoney magazine has once again, for the third year in a row, honored us as the "Best Hotel in Seoul." Finally, we were also named one of the “Top 100 Hotels of the World” by Institutional Investor Magazine for the third time in 2006 – the only hotel in Korea to do so.
