Cox & Kings specializes in organizing unique and unforgettable events that create lasting memories. No Incentive is complete without a custom designed theme event, native to the destination visited. To experience the essence and diverse splendour of India, Nepal and Sri Lanka, we offer you dazzling themes which encapsulate a different part of the country, a different time, a different expression of grandeur, tradition and enjoyment. From royal welcomes to traditional cultural performances, here are just a few ideas to create a seamless, standout event that exceeds your expectations.

Traditional Welcome

On arrival at your hotel, experience Indian warmth and hospitality as you are greeted with a ‘Traditional Welcome’. Elegant ladies in local costumes greet you with garlands. Flower petals are showered and the ‘aarti’ ceremony is performed where your forehead is anointed with the auspicious red ‘tika’. Relax with a welcome drink.

Maharaja Welcome

On arrival at the hotel, you are accorded a Maharaja Welcome – ‘a welcome fit for a King’. A stunning tableau of beautifully decorated elephants or camels and horses unfolds before you, recreating the atmosphere of medieval times. Ladies in colourful costumes perform the traditional garlanding, ‘aarti’ and ‘tika’ ceremony while the music of the ‘Shehnai’ welcomes you. Relax with a welcome drink.
Note: Available in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. Welcome with elephants is only available in Jaipur. Camels and horses will be used in Jodhpur and Udaipur.

Grand Royal Welcome Procession

You will be accorded a royal reception recreating the ambience of a welcome accorded to a victorious Rajput warrior. The entire driveway of your hotel will be lined with caparisoned elephants or horses and camels. You will be taken in royal carriages or on camel carts accompanied by a band of folk musicians and horsemen leading the procession amidst showers of rose petals. Valets drape each lady with a ‘dupatta’ (stole) and the gents are dressed with ‘safas’ (Rajasthani turbans). You will be greeted with garlands and the ‘tika’ ceremony is performed. Welcome drinks are served whilst an array of folk performers and musicians entertain you.

Note: Available in Jaipur and Udaipur. Welcome with elephants is only available in Jaipur. Camels and horses to be used in Udaipur.

Treasure Hunt

Embark on an exciting Treasure Hunt arranged exclusively for you, commencing at the Red Fort. The group will be divided into two teams. Using different modes of local transportation, winding your way through the bustling old narrow streets of Chandni Chowk, you will arrive at your final destination the ‘Chor Bizaare’, with help of some clues. Have your fortune told by an astrologer who hands you a tattered map that leads you to a specific cycle rickshaw that wends its way through the teeming mass of people and narrow lanes. Haggle for an oriental rug which when unfolded yields a further clue, leading to a soft drink seller, wearing your company’s logo. Carry on to a snake charmer or a local vendor, which provides the final clue leading you to your destination. The winning team is presented with their prize (small oriental rugs / silk scarves, etc.) at the restaurant where you will have a delicious lunch with beer.

Mughal Theme Dinner

You have the opportunity to adorn typical Indian attire and experience the lifestyle reminiscent of the Mughals, recreated through the grandeur of this traditional Mughal theme evening. It is reflected in the specially designed chowkis (low-seating tables), gaddas (luxurious mattresses) and plush bolsters and cushions all draped in richly embroidered fabric. The sultry melodies of live Indian classical music, sumptuous Mughlai cuisine, live Kathak dance performance (the royal dance of the Mughal Courts) makes a traditional Mughal dinner, a truly unforgettable experience.

Royal Dinner at City Palace

A Royal meal at the magnificent venue of ‘Shobha Niwas’ provides a splendid, once-in-a-lifetime experience to the visitors. In the evening, guests will be taken to the beautifully illuminated City Palace where you will be accorded a traditional welcome with caparisoned elephants, garlands and tika ceremony. Enjoy a glass of champagne. Once you are seated in a very exclusive area, the grand procession commences which is a display of the pageantry, pomp and glory of the ruling house of Jaipur. An elaborate buffet dinner will be served at the Shobha Niwas decorated with mirrors and gold lacquer and is the private dining hall of the Maharaja of Jaipur. A sit down meal with a choice of traditional ‘thali’ setting or a continental four-course meal is served. Live presentation of melodic Indian classical music on sitar or traditional Rajasthani folk music and scintillating dances will accompany the dinner. The evening concludes with a magnificent display of fireworks.

Bollywood Extravaganza

Enjoy the experience of an electrifying Bollywood Extravaganza theme dinner. ‘Bollywood’ as it is famously known is Mumbai’s answer to Hollywood. Experience the colourful extravaganza, as the evening unfolds with hostesses dressed in glitzy attire, according you with a welcome of pomp and pageantry. The entire venue is decorated with Indian film posters and scenes from famous movies projected on screens in the background. Featuring dancers and singers performing to Bollywood smash hits combined with a full buffet dinner, this is a one-of-a-kind experience. For the high-spirited, you will have the opportunity to participate and enact in one of the famous scenes and capture this incredible moment in a frame at the ‘Print Corner’.

Dinner at the Olive Kitchen & Bar with a Fashion Show

One of the best looking restaurants in Delhi is the Olive Kitchen & Bar, set in a beautiful Rajasthani style haveli next to the spectacular Qutab Minar. It’s a fashionable bistro specialising in Mediterranean cuisine. Olive’s stunning decor with the white pebbled courtyard, the Bargad tree and the greenhouse is a gracious blend of ethnic and Mediterranean chic. An exclusive dining area will be set for you where you will enjoy a fusion fashion show of Indian and Western attire as you sip your wine and enjoy dinner.

Champagne Breakfast at Taj Khema

Following your early morning visit to the Taj Mahal, tear yourself away from this fabulous marble creation and walk a short distance to Taj Khema, an elevated garden with excellent views of the Taj Mahal. Enjoy a champagne breakfast with the splendid Taj Mahal as the backdrop.
