Today head across to The Quays - unique waterfront destination situated just 15 minutes by tram from Manchester city centre and an ideal destination for a day out. Take the Metrolink tram. Visit attractions like the Imperial War Museum North, the Manchester United Museum and Stadium, the MOSI (Museum of Science & Industry) (free entry), the Manchester Art Gallery and the John Ryland's Library. Alternatively spend the afternoon shopping at Manchester Arndale, Market Street for high street favourites, King Street - designer labels or the Northern Quarter for unique and independent items.
