Cox & Kings Global Services starts
Norwegian Visa Application Centre in India

27th, July 2012

Mumbai, 27th July 2012: Cox & Kings Global Services (100% subsidiary of Cox & Kings Ltd) announces the start of its Schengen Visa & Residence Permit Application Centres for the Royal Norwegian Embassy in India. As part of the agreement, CKGS has opened Visa application centres across India in major cities, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Pune & Kochi.

According to H.E. Ms. Ann Ollestad, Norwegian Ambassador to India, “We are pleased to appoint CKGS as our partner in operating Schengen Visa & Residence Permit Application Centres across India. The number of Indian tourists arriving in Norway has been on steady incline and our partnership with CKGS at this juncture is bound to make it easier and convenient for Indian nationals to acquire a Schengen Visa or a residence permit making it possible for the diplomatic staff to focus primarily on case handling, thus shortening the overall processing time and the application procedure; which in turn will improve the experience of the applicants”.

CKGS will provide services such as disseminating visa & residence permit related information approved by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in India as well as pre-scrutiny of documents and acceptance of visa applications and passports from the general public.

According to Mr. Sanjay Bhaduri, CEO - CKGS, “The launch of the Norwegian Visa Application Centres in India is in line with our goal of providing assistance to travellers. We are certain that these centres will afford greater convenience to travellers wishing to visit Norway or the other Schengen countries.

The applicants have to fill the Visa Application form online (https://selfservice.udi.no) and make an online payment of Norway Visa Fees charged by the Embassy for which he/she then receives a payment acknowledgement. An appointment has to be booked online (www.no.ckgs.com) for submission of documents. Once acquiring an appointment, the applicant has to submit the printed application form, printed payment acknowledgement, passport and supporting documents. Once your visa application has been processed by the Norwegian Embassy, an SMS notification is sent informing you to come and collect your passport from the CKGS Norway Visa Application & Processing Centre. Applicants can track the status of their application through "Track your visa application".
